Stockholm's culinary offer is versatile and the market, with a multitude of traditional and exotic cuisines, already saturated. The mostly quite classical restaurants tend to vary only in terms of cooking-style, price range, style of interior and clientele.

«Hemlighetsmakeri» is an innovative concept for a restaurant which is wholly about creating an exciting experience that makes dining there a memorable event. The offered experience is one of exclusiveness, secrecy and deciphering. Throughout a number of hidden indications in the style of a scavenger-hunt, the guests gradually find out adress and codeword of the restaurant. Even the menu stays a secret until the very end. The emblem of an envelope (symbol of the secret message) is used as an icon along the whole design range and encounters a material mix of porcelain (asymmetrically shaped cups and plates that after eating up the dish reveal a word that is part of a secret message), glass (drinking glasses with engraved logo), velvet (pillow cases where the logo turns into a motif), wood and copper (weather-beaten wood, whose patina refers to a past life and shiny copper sheet converge and create tension).
